As part of the internal development function within RPA's I&T development function you will act as a lead developer / project manager working in one of the department’s development teams.

The development teams are organised around technology areas that currently cover

- CRM using Microsoft Dynamics

- Microsoft SharePoint

- System integration using Microsoft BizTalk

- Bespoke development using Microsoft Visual Studio and .Net

Roles are available in all the above areas and candidates will be assigned to an appropriate area based on their existing skill sets

The role will cover:

- Project management of small development projects using some of the technologies described above

- Application and database design - including the creation of functional / technical specifications and logical / physical database design.

- Application development - coding and unit testing of the application as specified in the design specification

- System testing - creation and execution of test plans to test the complete system

- Resolution of incident and problems reported against production systems

- Mentoring of less experienced members of the team

The role requires:

- Proven project management skills developing small scale IT applications

- Proven experience of designing small applications including working with the business to define requirements and the subsequent creation and approval of design specifications

- In depth experience in the use of at least one of the technologies described above. Experience of multiple technologies will be an advantage

- In depth SQLServer database experience including logical and physical design. Experienced in the administration of SQL Server using SQL Server Management Studio.
