About the Team

As part of the IT Engagement Team you’ll define end-to-end solutions to meet the needs of our demand owners. Whether it be the Consumer, Corporate customers or our internal business, we’ll help to expand on their ideas to define best-fit solutions that balance time, cost and complexity.

Your Role:

As Solution Architect you’ll be responsible for supporting and developing IT solutions for our Corporate and Enterprise Customers. The solutions we offer are varied and constantly changing to meet the needs of our customers. Solutions can range from the standard mobile offering, equipping your teams with mobile devices and connectivity, all the way to a complex and blended offering which could include cloud storage, security packages and managed WAN and LAN, the list goes on….

Responsibilities

Understanding the Customer Experience and shaping ideas - Develop a working understanding of the relevant areas of the business and the products and services, supporting the business in shaping new customer focussed ideasDefining and assuring end to end solutions including the Product and Service wrap required -Developing the view / process of the full E2E solution - Process / System / Reporting / Service Engaging IT teams in the process responsible for the development of the componentsLeading stakeholder collaboration - building and maintaining stakeholder partnerships - working collaboratively and in partnership with Application Blocks & Supplier partnersProviding guidance and advice, linking IT capability to other key considerations such as customer experience, commercial impacts and organisational change

Skills and Experience:

Be a respected adviser & contributor across application domains with the support of other experienced contactsA basic understanding of how tariffs are assembled and the associated areas of change involved when taking new propositions to marketIdeally have experience working with IT, Service Management, Networks and other wider business functionsCan manage conflict at a project level and handle escalation appropriatelySelf -sufficient in planning and executing day to day activities Is able to lead activities with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiativeThe ability to identify ambiguity and change and seek the necessary support to competently handle these
