The Parliamentary Digital Service is transforming the way Parliament does digital. We’re responsible for the entire digital strategy, including development of all parliamentary platforms from intranet services to a brand new website.

As an Enterprise Support Engineer you’ll be the bridge between users and service providers. You’ll deal with requests for support and resolve performance and failure issues by making system modifications, creating work-around enhancements, reconfiguring systems and training users.

This is an ideal development role for a systems engineer with an enthusiasm for problem-solving. Exposure to PowerShell (including script automation) in areas such as Active Directory and Microsoft server technologies would be helpful. However, proven technical aptitude and a willingness to progress are more important.

Skills such as good communication, teamwork and organisation will help you take full advantage of the opportunities on offer in this high-profile IT organisation that is pushing forward the boundaries of digital development.
