North Norfolk is an attractive rural District with beautiful coastline, fantastic landscapes and not to mention big skies.

North Norfolk District Council is looking for an individual with an analytical mind, an excellent eye for detail and a keen interest in outcome driven projects. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter wanting to set up data systems within the Economic Growth team. This is an exciting role that will appeal to people who appreciate trends and patterns of information and who are able to gather, monitor and evaluate data and able to present the information to internal and external partners.

You will also be required to liaise with external partner organisations to ensure data is comparable whilst supporting internal teams to achieve successful project set up and maximisation of outcomes, so being a results driven individual would be an advantage.

Experience and knowledge of data systems and the presentation of results in formats such as GIS is essential, as is the ability to accurately maintain the management of project and programme data. We are also looking for excellent written and verbal communication within the final candidate.

Experience of working in Local Government or the public sector would be advantage but not essential.

If you want to be part of an enthusiastic and forward thinking team, with a varied and challenging workload - we would like to hear from you.

This role is part time working 22.2 hours per week which could be worked over 5 days or less longer days. This role may be particularly attractive to those who may need to work fewer hours to fit around other commitments.

North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community. We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours and a career average pension scheme.

Please note that we do not accept CV's unless accompanied by a fully completed application form.
