The role

We are looking to hire an IT Finance lead to meet the requirements of our Finance team with IT solutions, delivered via a structured programme. The Finance organisation has recently established a shared service centre in Liverpool. To support this significant change, IT are helping Finance with a number of projects and short term requests. The ultimate goal is to drive more efficient working through applications such as Oracle and Hyperion.? As the IT Finance lead you’ll help to achieve critical business outcomes, working with very senior stakeholders to implement a clear IT Finance strategy for the organisation. You

Passionate about results, you’re a resilient business consultant and project manager. You’ve designed and implemented business processes. And you can manage vendors, and stakeholders at all levels and across functions. Preferably, you also have strong IT Finance experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore drilling or Mining. We’re also looking for your experience of implementing strategic IT Finance programmes and processes that have reduced risks or improved business efficiency or productivity.

As a minimum, you have an undergraduate degree within a technical discipline, or equivalent. However, in lieu of this, relevant Oil and Gas experience may be considered. And you’ll have a working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE and OBIA), Oracle Data Integrator and Hyperion. Also sought for this role are IT Finance experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore drilling or Mining, and experience of implementing shared services.
