IT at Seadrill is about balancing innovation and application with risk and cost. It’s about seeing opportunities to improve where others see problems. It’s about pioneering intelligent solutions. It’s about setting the highest standards. It’s about collaboration, expertise and support.

It’s an exciting time to join our talented team of IT professionals. We’ve already successfully adopted a hybrid public and private cloud infrastructure. As an organisation with global standardised applications that generate masses of data every day, we’ve implemented unified communication and collaboration technology. Now, you can help to develop a comprehensive business intelligence programme that will help us turn big data into key insights.

We’ll look to you to design and deliver customer reports using Oracle OBIEE and ETL processes using ODI to populate the data warehouse from a number of source systems (SQL, Oracle, Excel, Cubes, Essbase). You’ll use your acumen to develop Tabular Model using Kimball methodology and DBA activities to ensure the consistent running of SQL Servers. With a keen eye for detail and methodical approach, you’ll be able to indentify data sources and work with stakeholders so that they can exploit their data, whilst finding ingenious ways to eliminate any errors or inconsistencies.

With a minimum of two years’ experience , you’ll need a broad range of technical knowhow combined with the vision and commercial awareness to keep us ahead of the curve. In order to build strong relationships across the business and put your ideas in place, it’s vital you have strong communication, analytical and report writing skills. In return, you’ll join like minded team where your skills and experience will be developed. You’ll find the new challenges you’re looking for and have the resources and support to put in place the very best solutions.
