An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT Support role at a leading manufacturer based in Manchester.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment to offer support across our sites in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your IT career and gain excellent experience working with the latest technologies. Full training will be provided.
Role/Responsibilities
1st/2nd/3rd line IT support and consultancy for staff
Administration of users across multiple platforms
Managing network devices and switches
Managing multiple servers
Getting involved in Projects
Roll out of IT Policies
Backups and step by step contingency/disaster recovery
Maintaining the EDI communication links
Report writing
IT equipment purchasing
Hardware installation including upgrades and repairs.
Software testing, installation, administration and issuing.
Liaising with third party suppliers.
Supporting all mobile devices.
Build effective working relationships internally and externally.
Opportunity to get involved in wider projects as the role develops.
The successful candidate is expected to have full driving license and their own car to be able to travel between sites to provide support.
