As an IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will be part of a team of Helpdesk professionals that delivers remote support to our customers and business partners. Working as part of a team, you will provide incident diagnosis and resolution across a variety of Canon's of input/output Management Software Solutions and Multifunctional Devices in accordance with customer Service level agreements (SLAs) and our ITIL framework. In addition you will need to identify IMAC's, requests for information and escalate incidents to internal/external developer and resolver groups where required. Traning on Canon processes will be given

Previous experience working in an IT Helpdesk support environment preferable, but a competent person with relevant proven IT skills and experience will be considered.

Working as part of a team you willl be contacted by business customers to resolve software issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements via telephone and/or remote connection. You will be updating call management system throughout the life of the incident, including details of the resolution and will use, update and create knowledge items.

To ensure you give excellent customer service you will undertake regular training to maintain and gain skills and will escalate unresolved problems according to predefined procedures. You will use your relationships skills to participate in keeping a positive relationship with the customer and will work effectively in a small team, supporting colleagues as required.

You will have proven track record of finding technical solutions to end-user/customer problems in a helpdesk environment and will have an appreciation of ITIL and working within such a framework. You will have excellent communication skills where you will be understanding the issues from customers and will work to give exemplary customer service. Exercising reason and judgenment you will follow processes and procedures.

Candidates should have proven relevant industry experience. Certification such as MCP, MCSE, MCSA and/or applicable BTEC/degree to back this up is desirable, but not essential.

Due to security checks by Canon customers, you should have no current criminal convictions.

With strong problem solving skills you will have the drive and determination to resolve issues within your remit and look to constantly improve the level of customer service you can offer. Someone who can multitask you will take responsibility for your workload and help others to achieve theirs.

Salary - £25,340 - £26,747 + 5% annual bonus
