The Role:

We are looking for aspiring web and application developers to work as part of a new technical team at NetSupport on our new cloud-based platform and mobile apps.

Working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking collaborative team environment, the successful candidates will be motivated developers who have a keen eye for software design and user experience, as well as an aptitude for programming/scripting languages and development tools*

In addition, we are looking for solid foundation skills in the following areas:

C# / ASP.net (or JavaScript / NodeJS)

SQL Server (or MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB or similar)

Visual Studio 2010 / 2013 / 2015 (or Open Source IDE)

Non-essential but desirable skills include:

JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS

MVC

Responsive web design

Frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)

Mobile development (Android, iOS, Windows, Xamarin)

Database design

Version control (e.g. Subversion, GIT, SourceSafe)

Our existing Development Team are a highly skilled, cohesive group and we are therefore looking for exceptional candidates (preferably degree qualified in a Computer Science discipline) who can demonstrate the following:

Proven knowledge of and aptitude for software development (concepts and programming)

An eagerness and willingness to learn software development, design and technology

Ability to produce clean and efficient code that is easy to maintain

Ability to balance quality against tight release schedules

Ability to work on own initiative and also maintain and cultivate good working relations with members of the Development, QA and Technical Support teams.

Ability to be resourceful and think outside the box when it comes to new features and how they are implemented.

Good standard of English verbal and written communication skills

Organised and tenacious approach to work

Analytical aptitude to solve problems

Ability to take responsibility for your own output and ensure it works first time, every time

Willingness to put in extra time and work if and when required.
