The Role:

Deltek are seeking an additional Maconomy Technical Support Specialist to work within our dynamic, growing customer care team based in our Hammersmith, London Office. You will be responsible for providing high quality technical support to clients using Deltek’s Maconomy ERP application.

The Maconomy Technical Support Specialist works in a team environment and interacts directly with customers to find resolutions to technical issues relating to Maconomy. This is a challenging role and requires a high degree of technical knowledge over a broad range of areas. To bring problems to a resolution the Maconomy Technical Support Specialist will be required to think creatively when facing new problems, work closely with other teams (Engineering / Development and Consulting teams), and prioritise workload in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

Superb customer service skills

2+ years customer service or software support experience

Strong oral and written communication

Excellent time management skills - the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Knowledge with an object oriented language such Java

Knowledge of a common scripting language (Powershell / Visual Basic) - desirable

Experience working with XML or M-scripting (Maconomy proprietary language)

Broad range of analytical skills

Understanding of Windows Server or Linux Server configurations

Basic technical skills in large scale Enterprise Application / Server environments

Basic technical skills in database structure + performance

SQL or Oracle database server experience

Experience troubleshooting Database / ERP application issues

ERP experience (Maconomy, SAP, Oracle Financials, Agresso, Microsoft Dynamics)

Experience with Business Objects Web Intelligence and/or Xcelsius - desirable
