We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager responsible for a range of projects for our health sector customers covering the Yorkshire region.

About your role as the Project Manager:

In this role as the Project Manager you will be managing a range of IT business change projects covering ICT Infrastructure projects and software projects. You will manage this by liaising with businesses and key internal service Line Managers to understand and execute a range of projects.

The main duties of your role will be to:

- Effective management of the change portfolio in conjunction with the Principal Project Manager

- To ensure projects are planned, funded, resourced and agreed by all key stakeholders and any changes are progressed in a controlled way

- Effectively manage projects, ensuring delivery within agreed budget and timescales through all stages of the project lifecycle

- Engage and manage all, including Board level, stakeholders

- Plan and co-ordinate the engagement of all project resources including business, technical, vendor and any other external resources

- Ensure that risks and issues are identified, reported and managed through to resolution.

- Produce status reports which accurately reflect project progress

- Work closely with the Project Management Office to ensure that cross project and programme interdependencies are identified and managed

- Develop and deliver robust stakeholder engagement plans

- Establish and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with all stakeholders and project participants

We need a Project Manager who has:

- A degree qualification or equivalent work experience

- A project management qualification (e.g.Prince2®)

- Demonstrable previous IT management experience

- Excellent knowledge of IT technical environments and issues

- Professional project/programme management qualifications, PMP

- Significant experience of project and large programme delivery in a portfolio environment

- Significant experience of traditional waterfall delivery in a structured change environment

- Worked in a demanding, fast paced environment, preferably within the financial services sector

- Excellent change management & planning skills

- Strong resource planning, estimating and budget management skills

- The ability to interpret and distil complex information and data

- Experience in wide range of project scopes from technical to business change

- The ability to work under pressure

- Ideally ITIL awareness
