Learn leading edge technology in an high profile environment.

The Parliamentary Digital Service is transforming the way Parliament does digital. We’re responsible for the entire digital strategy, including the development of all parliamentary platforms from intranet services to a brand new website.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about helping end users and passionate about new technology to work in a leading national political structure. You’ll take on a varied role tackling mobile device management, the deployment of software, patching rollouts and mailbox issues as well as designing, building and operating desktops and macs.

Alongside handing and resolving requests for support, you’ll play your part in varied project work; it’s a chance to gain all the training and exposure you need, to learn the skills for tomorrow’s technological environment.

You’ll come to us with sound experience of second line support in a Windows Server Estate (2008 onwards) and ideally, with some exposure to third line duties. It’s likely you’ll currently be supporting a user base of 1000 users upwards and are interacting with cloud technologies. You’ll definitely have ITIL experience and knowledge of working in a ticketed environment.

Above all, you will have the strong communication skills to engage with end users effectively and understand their issues, together with the customer focus to see issues through to resolution.
