General Purpose of the Role

As part of the high performing DTV Group team and more specifically the DTV IT team you will be responsible for helping the growth and enabling the success of the Company with the smooth running of the day to day systems and equipment that underpins everything that we do.

The role itself calls for a broad range of IT and support experience gained in a small or medium sized Company. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Support Analyst to join our Company in a fast-moving and busy environment.

Some travel will be required, initially between our UK offices.

Requirements Within The Role:

You will have the tenacity and drive to work hard as you will be the first port of call for people with IT issues across the whole Company, but you will also be part of a growing team of IT professionals who keep everything running smoothly.

You will already be very proficient with predominantly Microsoft technologies and the PC and server hardware that they run on.

That’s not the whole role though as there are Database Admin duties and other software responsibilities to keep it interesting and fast-paced. Working alongside our Data team you will also be creating and running SQL queries, visual scripts and IVR’s for telephone calls.

There is also an element of postal fulfilment for our roster of clients, creating letter templates and ensuring that the post operation is completed successfully as and when required.

You will work well under pressure, be enthusiastic, willing to learn and you will already have a keen eye for detail, be presentable and prompt.

You will be team orientated, but equally be confident enough in your abilities to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines.

You will be provided with all of the tools that you need to do what is required, but it will be up to you to bring the approach and the skills necessary to make you succeed, grow and progress within the role, and the Company as a whole, as we expand.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

You will be working within the IT team where you will be

The go-to IT support person for software, hardware and general queries.

Responsible for helping the Client team collect and process data.

Helping out in creating visual scripts for fundraising.

Looking after the IT infrastructure across our three UK offices and helping to support our Worldwide operation as it grows.

Letter creation, production and fulfilment for our Client campaigns.

Required Experience:

* Proficient / advanced skills as an IT support professional.

* Experience in Microsoft Server / Office / Google Mail

* Hardware support experience.

* Any experience working with MySQL or MSSQL is a definite plus.

* Good communication skills.

* Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

* Work well under pressure.

* Have a Driving licence.

* Be enthusiastic, tolerant and helpful.

Hours of Work:

We are driven by wanting to provide the best possible service for our clients, both internally and externally. To enable this we work as standard from 9am - 6pm.
