In this consultative technical role, you’ll work closely with our customers to ensure they’re getting the very best out of our diverse portfolio of heat asset solutions. Whether you’re advising on how to optimise the efficiency of current CHP equipment, or discussing the installation of a new ground source heating system, your expert knowledge and strong project management skills will ensure our corporate customers are getting the very best deal.

This is a strategic as well as a hands-on role. We’re very keen to develop new packaged solutions that can combine heating and hot water solutions with other areas from air conditioning to energy management. We’ll look to you to spot - and develop - these opportunities for new products, collaborating closely with engineers from other parts of the business. It’s a role where there’s real scope to grow our product portfolio, our sales - and your own career.

Whether you’re analysing Operations and Maintenance performance indicators to help develop the most efficient heating systems, developing new technical solutions that benefit both E.ON and our customers, leading virtual teams to deliver solutions or sourcing and managing third party suppliers, you will be invaluable to your customers and this new business function.

Essential Skill Requirements

- You will either be a Chartered Engineer, or have a degree in Engineering or other relevant subject

- Considerable experience in a relevant area, such as technology consulting, utilities or energy efficiency

- An entrepreneurial approach, where you combine your conceptual, analytical and strategic skills to develop innovative new solutions and grow the business

- Ability to deliver technical solutions with commercial acumen

- A collaborative outlook and experience of working on multi-discipline projects

- Good stakeholder management skills - including at senior or board level

- A positive, enthusiastic approach combined with real resilience and determination
