Change your career, change lives

A career in marketing at the Open University is like no other, a unique and well-loved brand, we make higher education open to all and support over 200k students every year to achieve their goals and change their lives.

Marketing is leading the way in widening the Open University’s appeal to ensure that our brand is as relevant today as it was at our launch in the 1960s. We are at a hugely exciting point of our evolution, recognising the need to innovate, challenge and disrupt to increase relevance and recruit more new students each year.

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Marketing Strategy and Analytics Team to drive our ‘top down’ performance management. We are building a performance culture here in Marketing at the Open University and understanding where we are against our strategic and commercial objectives is critical in achieving that.

You will be delivering a KPI and MI framework for the Marketing Unit with a range of reports that demonstrate progress against objectives. You will have a passion not just for getting the detail right, but in delivering insight that brings data to life.

In any given day you could be working with the Analytics team to specify data and models (e.g. forecasting) in support of portfolio analysis and reporting and then be presenting the insight to University Senior Management.

This is an exciting, challenging role for someone with strong analytical and insight skills looking to make a real business difference.
