What we do at DWP sets the standard for how data can be effectively used, shared and protected leveraging the potential of visualisation, mining, big data and deep learning technologies by aggregating curated data across diverse sources while protecting personally identifiable information.

The Chief Data Officer will lead teams of 500 data scientists, data architects, data analysts, statisticians, data developers and engineers to aggregate internal, cross government and external data into authoritative sources, insightful context, meaningful BI, reliable analytics and consumable statistics offered through APIs and embedded interactive visualisation. This is a challenging role, delivering critical services within a large organisation and across a diverse client base and candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership, drive, ambition, experience and expertise from a range of roles in different organisations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the wider government data strategy in partnership with leaders across industries. This DWP Digital senior executive position will report directly to DWP’s Chief Digital and Information Officer.

Travel to other sites is necessary.
