About the role

Here at Clarks we’ve been making shoes for 191 years. We’re well known all over the world for our innovative, inventive and iconic footwear. And we want to make sure we’re just as famed when it comes to our technology and how our customers interact with us.

Joining us as a SAP SD Analyst, you’ll make sure that our IT applications are working effectively and efficiently, delivering real time and time critical application maintenance. A quick thinker, you’ll challenge stakeholders and use your influence to set the business on the right track. Collaboration is key: you’ll be working with the wider IT team, colleagues across the business - in Europe, the US and China - and alongside third party stakeholders. You’ll also be sharing your knowledge as you mentor junior members of the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your innovative thinking and technical experience to drive positive change and improve our whole business.

A bit about you

Proactive and pragmatic, you’re an analytic problem solver searching for the root cause. You’ll be able to draw on solid SAP SD experience, delivering and supporting critical systems for a company / companies of equivalent scale and complexity to Clarks. You’ve a strong track record implementing changes and enhancements, ideally, experience in a retail or wholesale organisation. You are able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of SAP SD functionality & configuration. You will also have experience of cross-system/platform integration using iDocs and EDI, and other SAP modules & their interactions; all of which are core to Clarks' overall OTC solution footprint. A commercial awareness would be a bonus. A real team player who’s also customer focused, you’ve exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Above all, we’d like you to champion our technology to solve problems and drive positive change across the business.

Life with us

Every 60 seconds, 105 pairs of Clarks shoes are sold globally. That makes us a £1.6 billion business and a truly worldwide brand. We now have some 15,000 employees across 75 different countries - everywhere from Europe to the Americas. Despite being the world’s biggest everyday footwear brand (by sale volume), we’re still owned by the Clarks family and based in Street, Somerset - where the Clarks business began. Street is the nerve centre of our business, driving growth and the whole Clarks success story. With investment and change underway, it’s a great time to be here.

The benefits

As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a variety of benefits. These range from 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) to discounted healthcare. And, as everyone loves new shoes, you’ll also get a very healthy discount on our products.

We love hearing from great people

Clarks International believes that the principle of equality of opportunity is fundamental to the company's operations. Our long held aim is to provide just and fair treatment for all employees. We will not discriminate on the grounds of sex, age, disability, marital status, colour, race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or gender reassignment.
