Our client is a well established housing association working in partnership with a range of local authorities to meet housing and care needs across South East London.

Job Purpose

To deliver efficient and effective business applications technical services, by ensuring that systems are available during working hours and by providing the 2nd and 3rd line applications support role. Additionally providing a management information (data reporting) service to customers of ICT services and supporting regular key business process routines.

Essential Criteria

- Proven experience providing 2nd / 3rd line business applications support

- Proven database admin and Transact-SQL skills in Microsoft SQL Server

- Proven experience in production of management information

- Good working knowledge of networking and data communications, including TCP/IP and DNS

- Excellent trouble-shooting and problem resolution skills

- Positive and enthusiastic customer service attitude

- Advanced data analysis and manipulation skills, including the use of Excel pivot tables

- Attention to detail and a methodical approach

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent workload management skills; the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

- Proven ability to be an effective team member

Desirable Criteria

- Proven experience supporting housing applications in a systems administration or technical support role

- Experience maintaining and supporting interfaces

- Proven experience maintaining a Microsoft Exchange environment (2010 or above)

- Experience of virtualised server / storage environments, especially VMWare
