The role

We work on many unusual technical projects at MI5 - all of which are overseen by Project Managers. As you upgrade our bespoke software solutions, you’ll have a huge impact on our investigate business and help us to find and manage intelligence.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of projects, leading on next generation digital intelligence platforms. Producing detailed project documentation, you’ll outline tasks and objectives - always making sure that you’re solving challenges for your customers. You’ll motivate those who are in your project teams, and lead everyone to safeguard our nation.

About you

We’ll expect you to have a formal qualification in Project Management (such as PRINCE2, or APM), and ideally you’ll have professional qualifications and affiliation with a professional body. With a proven track record of successfully leading diverse teams, you’ll have experience of using a recognised project management methodology. As a result, you’ll be able to deliver our large and challenging projects against tight deadlines.

Forward thinking and resilient, you’ll use your own initiative to overcome challenges. And thanks to your excellent interpersonal skills, you foster great working relationships and motivate those you work with.
