Working within our growing Customisation and Upgrade team, the Junior Technical Consultant will be responsible for carrying out and handling the complex and technical process of upgrading client systems as well as providing advice to clients on new functionality and configuration options.

As you gain experience, you could progress to delivering specific pieces of configuration and bespoke work, with increasing autonomy and direct client contact, including taking briefs and producing specifications.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Junior Technical Consultant Deltek:

You Will Be Responsible for:

- Managing and carrying out of upgrades to client systems

- Making minor configuration changes to client systems

- Collect data , including data importing and reporting

- Assisting others in the Customisation function with larger projects

- Liaising with clients to report on progress, and to clarify requirements

About You:

The Ideal Candidate:

- Will be able to organise themselves effectively and to juggle competing priorities

- Have an existing ability to write code; Ideally; ASP.NET, XML/XSL, Javascript, SQL (but evidence of strong skills in another area would be acceptable)

- Has the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients

- Has strong written and verbal communication skills

- Has previous experience with conducting presentations

- Will have a ‘hands-on’ approach to dealing with technical issues
