The Junior QA role will involve working closely with the Development Team to test software prior to hotfix packages being passed through our full test cycle. The individual will be responsible for unit tests of particular functionality as developers prepare for a formal release into QA. One of the main aims of this new role is to discover issues prior to software being released into our current QA function.

Here’s what you should know if you would like to be a Junior QA at Deltek:

On any given day you might be:

- Maintaining and developing testing plans

- Testing all software committed to a test environment prior to official release

- Liaising with development teams to fix issues from testing

- Liaising with Product Sponsors on results of testing

- Working with the QA manager on full regression tests

The ideal candidate will:

- have some experience in a similar role

- They will show a high degree of technical competence

- Have good presentation and writing skills

- Have a strong learning aptitude and an excellent work ethic

- Have excellent verbal communication skills and an overall enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude
