We recruit the brightest and best graduates into the Civil Service and give them the skills, knowledge and experience they need to become effective and inspiring leaders at the heart of the political process.

On our Digital and Technology Fast Stream, you will be helping design, build and run government digital services, transforming the lives of millions of people. Your focus will be on making government easy and convenient to deal with, meeting the evolving needs of our users.

You’ll do six placements over four years, working in up to six government departments. You may be project managing a new feature, product or IT system upgrade, gathering and analysing data including user research, building web services, creating content for websites or creating digital/ technology government policies. By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with some of the most highly sought-after skills in digital and technology and have gained solid leadership abilities.
