Do you have a real passion for analytics?

Do you want to have a good work life balance? Do you want to be part of a wider professional community that supports your careers choices?

If you answered yes to some of those questions then you really should think about joining us at HMRC.

This is an opportunity to join the analytical community at a very exciting time. We have just brought all of our risk, intelligence and compliance teams together to form our Customer Compliance Group (CCG) to fulfil our vital role in protecting the revenue system that funds our services in the UK.

Acquiring data and intelligence, getting it into a useable form and using tools and expertise to analyse it, plus providing insight that the business can use to make decisions at strategic, tactical and operational levels is what we’re passionate about.

We are looking for up to 10 Senior Data Analysts to join the Customer Compliance Group (CCG). Our ambition is for CCG to be a world leading compliance analytical function, underpinned by cutting edge technology exploited by confident, highly trained staff.

We have a strong reputation and lead the field in our intelligence, analytical and risking capabilities. You will be the person that continues to grow that reputation, mentoring and supporting other analysts to share knowledge and drive forward improvements in the way that we do things.

You will have a strong analytical background and will have probably gained your breadth of experience from wider industry. You will be highly experienced in data analytics including technical analytics.

More importantly you will have a genuine interest and aptitude for this type of work and have access to the biggest data platform in the UK which is unrivalled by our counterparts.

In return, you will enjoy an excellent rewards package which includes flexible working, Civil Service Pension and career progression.

Closing date: midnight on 8th November 2016.

Candidates are required to submit a CV and a covering letter outlining why they would be suitable for the role (as outlined above) based on their skills and experience. Please see the candidate information pack for more information.
