Barrhead Travel the Holiday and Tailor made Travel Specialists are currently seeking an experienced . net Systems Developer to join our team based in Glasgow city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company and work within a dynamic team. Ideally you will have over 2 years’ of web .net experience and experience of using proceduaral programming language (Ideally Classic ASP)

Role responsibilities

- testing and modifying systems to ensure they operate reliably

- fault finding diagnosing and fixing

- writing software documentation and operation manuals

- liaising with different departments within the business

- providing support and user and training

- Taking a legacy system, currently written in Classic ASP and migrating this to .NET

Essential Skills

- Asp.net/C# (object orientated programming principles)

- SQL Server

- Migration Experience from Classic ASP to .net C#

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Logical Mind

- Good analytical skills

Desired skills

- Java script/jQuery

- Procedural Programming Language ( Ideally Classic ASP)
