This is a fantastic opportunity for a BI report developer with a good mix of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. We are looking to hire a person who is excited about the opportunity to develop their business and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

- Working on high profile projects that are key to the businesses strategic aims, supporting the project team and ensuring a smooth delivery.

- Working as part of the Solutions Delivery Team, responsible for the analysis, design and development of BI Reports, providing support to colleagues throughout the business.

- Ensure that all documentation is produced to a high standard, including product development, deployment and training guides.

Essential Requirements:

- Must have excellent communication skills and able to discuss business requirements with various stakeholders and reporting requirements with all levels of colleague within the business.

- Proven experience of using one or more of the established business intelligence software platforms such as Microsoft, SAP BusinessObjects, IBM Cognos or a major business suite provider such as Oracle, Infor.

- Experience of working on a full lifecycle of a project, which could be a data migration, business intelligence platform upgrade or data warehouse implementation.

- The ability to perform data quality analysis and testing.

- Writing and maintaining functional and technical specifications to a high standard as well as producing testing scripts.

Desirable Skills:

- Evidence of detailed knowledge of a specific business area such as finance, logistics, manufacturing.

- Experience of GIS reporting.

- Understanding of Enterprise BI and Data Warehousing Methodologies.
