We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Support Engineer to join our EMEA team, based in London Euston. This role will be instrumental in providing technical support directly to our customers.

Whilst 1-2 years’ experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from recent graduates who have a depth of technical expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analysing, resolving and managing customer support issues (first line support), whilst building on-going relationships with our client base.

- Management of software releases and installation.

- Provide support for license management, as well as pre-sales, marketing and service delivery functions

- Provide assistance with software testing and documentation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

- Knowledge of development environments, Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Apache Subversion.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (including advanced excel skills), Windows operating systems, database management.

- Great customer service skills, with logical problem solving ability.

- Good written and verbal skills with sound command of English.

- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential. This could include roles such as: Software Engineer, Applications Support Analyst, Helpdesk, IT Support, Application Support, .Net Developer, Technical Support, Software Tester etc.
