DIO’s Data, Analytics and Insight (DA&I) department are currently looking for a Senior BI Design & Integration Manager to join a new function focused on defining, developing, exploiting and supporting capabilities to enable the wider DIO to generate significant business benefit though using data for reporting, information management and analytics. This is a critical component in enabling DA&I to provide expertise and insight to the wider DIO as well as delivering self-service abilities to the other directorates.

The role is tasked with;

- Support testing and providing appropriate resilience in conjunction with the Chief Information Office (CIO).

- Focus on the agile development of the data warehouse, reviewing, defining and delivering sprints to meet user requirements.

- Supporting the aims of the BI function as it is at the centre of the provision of data via data marts and the maintenance and support of these to ensure reliability and performance are in line with expectations.

- Interacting with other parties on the supply of data into the data warehouse, ensuring that data is loaded in a timely and accurate manner and utilising the data quality tool output to provide assurance on the data.

- Staff management within the Design & Integration team, and therefore has responsibility for assigning tasks and workload to the rest of the team to support the agile approach.
