DIO’s Data, Analytics and Insight (DA&I) department are currently looking for a Senior Data Governance & Quality Manager to join the Data Governance team tasked with making business wide data improvements, using the latest Data Quality technology and working with the business to bring data management expertise in setting and ensuring adherence to data standards and policies.

The Senior Data Governance Manager coordinates the support and advice to Data Stewards to ensure that the activities they are undertaking are aligned to the wider Data Governance programme. The role works with business and technical stakeholders across the business to:

- Deliver against the enterprise data strategy and data governance vision.

- Deliver data ownership and accountability within the business through stakeholder management to build the foundation for success.

- Work with Data Stewards to understand their data management issues, requirements and opportunities in order to maximise value derived from data; quantifying the benefit.

- Take responsibility for leading on specific projects in conjunction with Data Stewards and facilitate collaborative working and knowledge sharing. Take an active role in data workshops and other key meetings.

- Enable the organisation to achieve better decisions through the maintenance of improved data quality and best practices.
