Job Title: Sessional Teacher / Assessor in Telecoms / ICT

Location: Coventry, CV1

Slary: £18.30 - £21.83 per hour

Position: 11 hour post

Closing Date: Sunday 29th January 2017

The College is looking to appoint a Sessional Teacher / Assessor in Telecoms / ICT. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to deliver on the Level 3 BTEC Telecoms apprenticeship programme as well as developing our Level 2 and Level 4 offer to employers. An IT expert, you will plan, prepare and deliver training and assessment in a College training facility and in the workplace.

Job Role:

The company is looking to appoint a passionate and innovative person who will take ownership of the apprenticeship programme and grow the business and offer alongside delivering an excellent learning experience. It will be critical you are able to communicate well with employers to understand their needs and design training to meet them.

Candidates must have:

* Level 2 Maths and English Qualifications

* Recent telecoms / ICT industry experience and relevant vocational qualification at L4 or above

* Level 5 Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed / DTTLS or equivalent

* Assessor / Verifier awards (A1/V1)

* Experience of teaching in an FE environment or equivalent
