Join the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and have a future that matters: Be proud; Be challenged; Be unique.

DIO is part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD). We play a vital role in supporting Defence by leading and managing the delivery of what the Armed Forces need to live, work, train and deploy on operations. Our people share the common goal of supporting our Armed Forces through management of the military estate.

DIO’s Data, Analytics and Insight (DA&I) department are currently looking for an enthusiastic Geo-Analytics professional to join and manage its Geospatial Analytics Team. This post requires someone who is comfortable working with Geospatial data and exploiting Geospatial Information Systems.

The Geo-Analytics Manager’s role will need to;

- Engage with the wider business to discover potential analytical projects and manage their delivery.

- Embed the benefits of Geospatial Analytics methods and outputs across the DIO.

- Lead and develop Geospatial Analysis within DIO and directly line manage two analyists.

- Collaborate with the wider operational Geospatial Team, the Business Intelligence Team and the Modelling Team all within DA&I.

DIO is relatively immature when it comes to Geospatial Analysis, so this is a great opportunity to shape how the DIO Senior Management makes it decisions.
