Prosys Computing are a leading business systems and software supplier based in Cardiff, specialising in Sage accounting and business systems, eCommerce and software development services.

Within Prosys Computing Ltd you will be working as part of a team developing a range of business software applications but mainly in relation to the Sage 200 Accounting and Business Systems.

This role will primarily be office based developing modules for Sage 200 in C# but will also include new Windows and web applications not necessarily associated with Sage 200, various data reports and databases.

Core Responsibilities

                               Write computer software according to pre-prepared specifications

                               Test computer software and report bugs/problems

                               Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs/problems

                               Support existing in-house developed software

                               Document the programmes written

                               Create data reports using report designer tools

                               Develop database tables, views and stored procedures

                               Review and write system requirement specifications

                               Support other departmental teams within Prosys

                               Customer interaction

Skills Requirements

Essential

                               C# Programming skills

                               SQL and general database skills ideally with Microsoft SQL Server

                               Good Microsoft Windows skills

                               Microsoft Visual Studio

Advantageous

                               BSc Degree in related field

                               Web development skills such as ASP.Net MVC, HTML and JavaScript

                               Team Foundation Server or other source control software

                               Hyper-V or other machine virtualisation software

                               Sage 200 Developer experience/accreditation

                               Sage 50 Developer experience/accreditation

                               Financial and manufacturing industry knowledge

                               Microsoft Office Suite up to 2016

                               Remote support software Log Me In, TeamViewer, GoToAssist

                               Support / bug / task tracking systems
