Join a dynamic team at the centre of the book industry. The team is responsible for collection and loading of book product information, the creation and management of data feeds out to retailers and libraries, and the loading of data into the back-end system that supports the creation of the Nielsen BookScan book charts.

Key accountabilities for our roles include:

- To operate production software to fulfil client requirements and meet delivery schedules.

- To control, support and initiate processes that collect, load and export electronic files. To ensure loading schedules match cycle times so customer deadlines are achieved.

- Appropriate monitoring of load queues to guarantee files are input in the correct sequence and that the load is balanced to optimise system resources.

- To support systems by following correct procedures after system failures or data errors. To respond promptly to queries from internal and external customers.

- Gaining familiarity with company escalation procedures and assign correct severity level for system and data errors.

To succeed in this role you will need:-

- Experience of analysing, validating or reconciling data.

- To demonstrate experience of working to deadlines.

- Knowledge of databases and/or SQL script writing.

- Desirable: Previous experience with Cognos or other BI tool, Book Retailing, Publishing, EPoS Systems or Market Research.
