The Opportunity
The Head of Data Architecture and Analytics will build Plan International’s data analytics and reporting, ensuring that we have access to credible, trusted data to inform our strategic and operational choices, supporting decision making, advocacy and marketing activities based on solid evidence. Ensuring value from Plan International data and software investment to enable the organisation to be transparent, accountable and legitimate is imperative.
As Head of Data Architecture and Analytics, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and ongoing delivery of Plan International’s data analysis and reporting capability.
You will play a critical role in developing Plan International’s data strategy, standardising processes and data in line with industry best practice to provide a consistent foundation to support data analysis for organisational effectiveness.
As well as formalising and institutionalising Plan International’s data governance framework, you will also build staff capability and skills through development of organisation wide training.
The Person
A high degree of expertise and experience is required to analyse and understand Plan International’s range of systems, processes and highly complex data relationships, particularly relating to integrating multiple data sources across different technologies.
With a blend of insightful business understanding and considerable technical knowledge in business intelligence, analytics, data architecture, warehousing design and data transformation, you will use exceptional creative thinking to create solutions that enable staff to intuitively interpret our data and present it in credible and engaging ways.
You must be a skilled project manager with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, stakeholders and partners. Prior experience of leading a team is essential.

Salary: Circa £60000 per annum
