The Next websites are pretty good (at least we think so) but we’re always striving to make them even better.

This role is for someone who shares our vision and has the enthusiasm and drive to help us move things forward. Working within a vibrant and solid team, you will be responsible for assessing the business needs, documenting current workflows and processes and communicating requirements for future online developments and system updates. These requirements will then be used by Ecommerce to put in place. You will ensure that all aspects of these developments are working effectively and that they meet requirements and continue to exceed customer and business expectations.

About the Role:

- Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of department and the organisation as a whole in relation to a specific project/task.

- Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate the service/function/product in question.

- Analyse your findings and document the requirements. These requirements will then be used by Ecommerce to deliver this development/system update.

- Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.

- Produce written documentation to support your work including user stories and process workflows. Present to stakeholders when necessary.

- Support eCommerce and product owners throughout the project lifecycle including assisting with testing and rollout.

- Communicate the benefits of the project across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern.

About you:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.

- The ability to motivate others and lead change.

- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.

- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.

- Experience working on agile projects.

- Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits with a relocation package available.
