Working within a vibrant and solid team, you will be responsible for producing a series of actionable customer insights using internal and external data, and promote their use in the business to increase revenue, reduce cost, improve ROI, and/or improve the customer experience.

About the Role:

- Proactively drive positive change across the business.

- Help the business to know our customers. Understand and grow the customer base, focusing on acquisition of good quality customers and retention of existing.

- Understand and anticipate the needs of Next customers, and the key drivers of customer behaviour, so that customer needs can drive business decisions.

- Use the data to derive a new customer centric - customer segmentation, re-defining the boundaries for at risk, lapsing and lapsed customers and uncover further opportunities.

- To build a variety of customer and product predictive models to identify business opportunities, and support the Marketing Planning Manager to promote the use of those models in the business.

- To deliver actionable and commercially valuable insight focussed specifically on the needs of the customer base.

- Identify new data sources to enhance knowledge of the customer and their experience.

About you:

- Ability to model and profile data using advanced analytical techniques.

- Ability to query and select data using multiple applications the business uses, and learn new applications/tools.

- Highly skilled in SAS and Excel.

- Ability to communicate often complex data and insights in simple language to individuals and groups of people, and hone in on key findings, and clearly and succinctly answer the "so what?" question.

- Can suggest the way forward to implement insights profitably, and will support with knowledge, supplementary analysis, and measurement during the end to end implementation phase.
