The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. The work of our Audiences and Media team focuses on growing the love, advocacy and demand for the art presented by the Royal Opera House, so that we can also grow our audience-generated revenues.

We are now looking to appoint a Head of Strategic Analytics and CRM to set up and lead the function which will enable us to use audience analysis and insight in our decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Audiences and Media, this role will develop the CRM strategy, and will embed audience data into multiple areas of our work, from ticket sales to memberships and support our aims in growing audience revenue and lifetime value. You will design and deliver a portfolio of data analytics services to enable the audience CRM strategy, and build and lead a high caliber team with the requisite skills to deliver these services for abroad group of stakeholders across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and collaborative team player, able to demonstrate:

- A strong track record in leading customer or audience data analytics and CRM services at a strategic and operational level, working with a leading organisation or brand

- Ability to work from organisational objectives and target data to create meaningful metrics and benchmarks for the data analysis and reporting

- Ability to design a portfolio of services to deliver the strategy across the organisation, including pricing modelling, regular dashboard reporting, monitoring lifetime customer value and database contact strategy

- Extensive experience of CRM systems, and ability to work in partnership with technology professionals to make recommendations and improvements

- Credibility and influence as a senior CRM professional for the Royal Opera House internally and within the sector, able to engage others effectively

- Ability to lead and inspire highly skilled teams to deliver outstanding work
