Are you a Graduate or experienced Design Engineer looking to work in a fast growing industry offering extensive training?

They are a large and growing company within the power industry who are backed by a huge player in the power market and offering interesting work and real career route for an ambitious candidate.

The role will be office based, working in the tendering team, designing on electrical and civil work, and will include client liaison for pre or post contract orders.

You will receive all necessary on and off the job training, including basic electrical theory.

Once trained and working independently within the engineering role, there is the opportunity to work either as a Tendering or Planning Engineer, to suit the business requirements. Here you will advance their competency in this discipline and move through the tiered competency structure.

The role will be primarily using the AutoCAD LT software package for 2D design work. The other primary software used is MS Excel.

To apply you should have:

-A graduate with a degree in an engineering discipline - minimum 2:2 classification

-Strong in mathematics and physics

-Experience of AutoCAD

The role is paying a starting salary of £20000 for a graduate, up to £36000 for an experienced designer.

Due to the office location you MUST have a UK driving licence.

The role is working 8.30-5, Monday-Friday.
