About the Team:

Telefonica Digital has launched a Connected Car product which aims to change the face of driving in the UK.

Initially it offers competitively priced motor insurance, rewards safe driving and offers other value added motoring related services. The aim is to enhance the driving experience whilst reducing the total cost of ownership of the car.

Your role:

We are looking for an energetic, and seasoned professional with experience of bringing insurance and/or car related products to market and growing a large, highly profitable and sustainable business that is seen as a leader and an innovator in its chosen markets. Experience of managing a complex supply chain, involving multiple internal and external suppliers, through a variety of commercial constructs including full outsourcing, is essential.

Responsibilities:

-You’ll be the product lead for Connected Car products and services with responsibilities spanning the full customer lifecycle through quote/buy, app registration and use and, alongside managing the product roadmap and its operations

-Your key performance indicators will be roadmap delivery oriented, delivering enhancements which support the commercial KPIs and Csat and NPS plan

-Leading a virtual team of industry and marketing experts you’ll have ultimate responsibility for the commercial specification and end to end roadmap, ensuring we deliver what we need to meet the commercial model and business case for Telefonica

-You will be responsible for continuous monitoring and improvement of commercial performance to ensure we remain competitive, differentiated, innovative and sought after in a dynamic and fast paced market place using customer insights and input from key stakeholders

-You’ll work closely with our Partner organisations to ensure commercial requirements and timelines are clearly understood and delivered

Demonstrable Experience:

-Extensive experience of agile development methodologies

-Experience of developing, trialling, launching and continuously improving complex consumer products and commercial propositions with a focus on delivering a great customer experience

-Experience of managing outsourced relationships across a complex and multi-faceted supply chain involving provision of tangible products and intangible services

-Experience of incubating and launching a new (none core) business within a large complex organisation with a related but different core product or service

-Experience of operating within large scale and high profile change programmes which cross multiple areas of the organisation

-Great at stakeholder management and confident dealing with key partners internally and externally.

-Ability to grasp the complexities (if not fully understand the details) of technical delivery and take the right business decisions based on the opportunities and limitations of what can be delivered

-Comfortable with ambiguity, and delivering under pressure in complex fast paced environments
