Junior Business Analyst (Software Change) - c £25,000 + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst (Software Change related) who wishes to further develop their career within a thriving SME. As a Junior Business Analyst you will provide essential change management and project support activities in support of the Lead Business Analyst, as well as managing your own clients who have smaller, less complex software solutions. The team are responsible for delivering software and data change requests to external clients in the NfP and charities sector. As their main IT recruitment supplier for almost a decade we have a deep understanding of the culture and the Junior Business Analyst must be somebody who will thrive in a busy, fast paced software service delivery environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Working as part of a team, managing tasks across the whole Service Delivery Lifecycle which includes Change Definition; Test Definition; Investigations/Trends Analysis; and general support to the service operations team.
* Act as the Lead Business Analyst on nominated client accounts.
* Deputise for the Lead Business Analyst during his absence.
* Manage standard system change requests.
* Conduct investigations into clients' services such as data, trends analysis and incidents.
* Develop and maintain Service Documentation for your Accounts.
* Working with the software development and technical teams to scope, manage and implement software changes.
* Be the point of contact for the Test Function - coordinating resources and production of the User Acceptance Testing plans associated with software changes.
* Update and maintain internal communication materials associated with your client accounts.
* Provide support to the Project Management function as required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience of project management, PMO or business analysis
* Experience in a customer facing role within a digital or IT/technology company
* Excellent communications skills
* Proven history of managing multiple work streams at a single time
* Ability to obtain DBS Clearances
* Analytical and numeracy skills
Desirable requirements:
* Formal IT Qualification or degree or related experience
* Formal Business Analyst training such as Requirements Gathering, modelling business processes (ISEB) or Service Delivery such as ITIL
