Principal Analog IC Design Engineer - Scotland

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join a successful company involved in high performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs for the consumer electronics market.

In this position you will be joining the Audio team and your tasks will include; leading the design of IC development projects, hands on block level design from spec to clean database, top level chip verification and interpreting requirement specifications to achieve design strategies for Audio and Power Management products. As a Principal designer you will be tasked with mentoring more junior engineers.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 8 years experience in Analog IC Design in one of the following areas: audio and power management; consumer displays; automotive body electronics or wireless hand-held. Experience in some or all of the following is also required; DC-DC converters, switching converters, controllers: Buck/Boost/Chargers, Linear regulators, ADC's (SAR, sigma-delta, time-to-digital converters, pipeline), PLLs, charge pumps, bandgaps.

You will be required to work to a high standard and within deadline, be self-motivated and work well in team. The ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions will be a strong benefit.
