Senior Credit Risk Analyst

I am looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join an award-winning organisation based on the Scottish borders. This is a very hands-on role, and requires you to have a strong credit risk/collections background, and understand bad debt, debt collection, and have good data analysis skills. The company are looking for a self-starter, who can use their own initiative to solve problems and improve processes.

THE ROLE - Senior Credit Risk Analyst

* Understanding success of current strategies, finding improvements, and implementing improvements.

* Payment/customer profiling

* Reducing bad debts

* Reducing costs

* Extracting and manipulating data

KEY SKILLS - Senior Credit Risk Analyst

* Very strong credit risk and collections background

* Very strong data handling skills

* Understanding of data extraction tools (e.g. SQL, VBA, Excel)

* Excellent communication

* Fantastic problem solving
