Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Our client offers network solutions for electricity, natural gas, heating and public lighting. The company also plays an important social role in achieving climate objectives, combating energy poverty and the independent management of energy data.

Your New role :-

As BPC / BW solution designer have full responsibility for the success of contracts relating to the chosen architecture, design, construction, implementation and integration into the BI systems (SAP BPC / BW). In addition, you are the contact for the business and give functional support to business users.

You are responsible for both project / maintenance work as maintenance of our SAP BPC / BW environment with a strong focus on reporting and integration between the SAP BPC / BW system and the underlying back-end financial system.

Technical context

- Your captures and analyzes reporting / planning needs with business representatives.

- Based on the reporting / planning needs work the data model in accordance with the BI regulations. Here you make the correct evaluation which can be delivered from the standard business content.

- Starting from an analysis you are responsible for the technical implementation in SAP BW / BPC system.

- You check the work carried out on the basis of a pre-defined test plan.

- You make sure to follow the proper parameters within our monitoring so that any errors will be immediately apparent that the agreed service levels can be achieved.

- You keep the documentation up to date.

- You are responsible for the successful implementation of requested changes (Maintenance) and operational follow-up and running of the BW / BPC system.

- You are responsible for the lifecycle management and updates / upgrades of existing BW / BPC environment.

Other tasks:

- You will assist the Project in solving technical issues.

- You will assist the other solution designers to maintenance and project assignments.

- Based on your expertise, make proposals for improvements within the SAP BW / BPC framework.

- You give guidance to other professionals within the BI team.

Business context You will team up with several SAP BW / SAP BPC / SAP BO experts within the ICT service - Business Applications Support Services - Business Intelligence
