Our information services department provides an end-to-end service to a wide range of internal customers, encompassing IT development, delivery and support. We are a key element in the successful growth and expansion of Wessex Water Group, across both our regulated and unregulated businesses.

As project manager your key responsibility will be to ensure that your projects are delivered on time, within budget and to customers' expectations. You'll be working as part of a team of project and programme managers, dealing with a variety of projects of differing sizes and scopes. For each project you will be defining resource requirements, contributing to business cases, monitoring and managing progress of projects, identifying and mitigating potential risks and providing appropriate management information and progress updates to your line manager and project stakeholders too.

As project lead you will ensure best practice is followed and that all the associated programme/project processes are followed, such as dependency management, change control and lessons learnt. You will build successful working relationships with your colleagues, customers and other stakeholders to ensure the success of each project.

To do all of this you will need to demonstrate good project management experience, working on a range of project sizes. You'll probably have a technical degree and be qualified in either PRINCE2 or AGILE too. Alongside your technical skills and knowledge we'll want you to have great written and verbal communication skills, the ability to fit in with our busy, supportive team and a positive and energetic approach to your work.In return we offer a range of benefits including:
