For our client located in Dusseldorf, we are currently looking for a SAP Transportation Management Consultant

Start: asap

Duration: 3 months (+ possible extension)

Volume: fulltime (around 50% remote work possible)

Remote: possible

Project Background

The successful candidate will consult the Project Management regarding Interfaces between SAP and an external Transportation Management System. He will check the project progress, will provide expertise regarding the setup of data Exchange Interfaces and identifies risks and creates proposals about how to mitigate them.Some of the stakeholders are located in the US. The successful candidate will Focus on EDI Messages flowing from SAP to the TMS. His knowledge of SAP warehousing processes will help him to consult the IT Team. Candidate will have to travel once or twice to the USA.

Skills

The following knowledge is required:

- SAP Logistics Execution + Warehousing

- SAP IDOCs and EDIFACT

- SAP Sales & Distribution

Tasks:

- Setting up EDI connections between a transportation management tool and SAP

- Knowledge of Logistics Execution Processes especially on transportation management on SAP

- XML, IDOC, RFC

- Seeburger Converter

- Ideally knowledge in the CPG industry
