Tesco Mobile is an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and joint venture between O2 (Telefonica UK) and Tesco. Launched in 2003 it has grown rapidly to become the UK`s largest MVNO with a customer base to 4.6m (2016) and 99% network coverage in the UK. Your role

As the Lead Agile Business Analyst you`ll have overall responsibility for capturing and articulating business requirements for the Tesco Mobile DevOps team across various programs of work. This exciting role is at the core of agile project delivery, you would face both our talented DevOps members within the team as well as the wider stakeholders within Tesco Mobile business. This position reports into the Head of DevOps.

You`ll maintain and manage the product backlog to make sure requirements and priorities are agreed and clear. As the Lead Agile Business Analyst you will liaise with the members of the agile DevOps team, business stakeholders and third party vendors to ensure successful delivery in time/cost/quality. You will lead and facilitate business engagements to establish scope, business needs, project objectives, outcomes and expectations on project delivery from initiation to release and maintenance. You will help to design solutions that meet people, process and technology needs and provide an optimal route from the As-Is to the To-Be

Your role

-Produce quality, clear and consistent outputs that are required though all the phases of a delivery

-Ability to work on multiple project deliveries. Gain good understanding the projects and requirements

-Working towards project deadlines

-Responsibility for capturing and articulating business requirements for the DevOps team

-Maintaining and managing the product backlog to ensure requirements and priorities are agreed and clear

-Liaising with all stakeholders involved to ensure successful delivery

-Supporting Agile Test Manager, Technical Architect, Support lead and Scrum Master to plan and agree the delivery from initiation to support in live

-Ensuring agreed analysis deliverables are prepared according to project deadlines

-Mediating and resolving issues as and when they arise

Demonstrable Experience

-Experience of working with an agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)

-Experience with GIT/Github Tools

-Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

-Experience with JIRA / confluence or similar tools to manage product backlog

-Understanding of the Software Development lifecycle (SLDC) from initiation to live service.

-People, planning and management skills.

-Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate and work as a team player

-Ability to understand complex systems and issues and communicate these to both technical and non-technical people.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

-Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge

-Good problem-solving skills

-Demonstrable success in meeting deadlines and operating with clients and vendors

-Pragmatic with a high attention to detail

-Experience in Stakeholder management and building excellent professional relationships

-Previous experience liaising with other departments (i.e. marketing, customer service, PMO teams)
