Justifiably proud of our status as one of ‘Britain’s Top Employers’ for 6 years in a row, we’re seeking to build on this well-earned accolade and as a Business Analyst working on a variety of Finance and Actuarial based projects to support and deliver the business’ major programmes and projects, you’ll play a key role in achieving the overall business strategy and maintaining our position in the industry.

As Business Analyst, you will:

- Apply your Business Analysis expertise while working on multiple projects at the same time, providing analytical support and producing appropriate business artefacts, but also stepping in to advise, input and inform the project stakeholders and help steer the success of the project.

- Be able to identify the business process impacts of a project and utilise your process engineering skills to map out the ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes.

- Elicit and document the business requirements, understand the key project implications inside out and be able to successfully ‘walk through’ your analysis and recommendations to all areas of the business, supporting the design of the business solutions where appropriate.

- Demonstrate excellent relationship management in your interactions with internal and external project stakeholders at all levels.

- Display your ability to organise your workload and manage competing priorities and expectations effectively.

- Be pragmatic and flexible in your approach, supporting the project team with bespoke documentation and support as required.

- Support the wider Change Team agenda to identify and implement improvements to project methodology across the Group.

As a proactive, flexible and resilient Business Analyst from a project environment, with experience of the financial services industry, specifically within life and pensions, you MUST be:

- Accustomed to working in defined regulatory environment and have a proven ability to contribute to both the technical and management requirements of the role.

- Able to evidence that you can use your own initiative and work independently, as well as working closely within a project team.

- Outward looking, open-minded and commercially astute.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio applications, as well as being able to produce high quality documentation to tight deadlines.

- A confident communicator and relationship builder at all levels, with strong analytical, report writing and presentation skills, who can demonstrate a solid grasp of the full project lifecycle

Any experience within an outsourcer environment would be a definite advantage.
