Customer Services Business Consultant

Business Consultant required to join a leading provider of investment management software and services. The role sits within the Professional Services group which is growing due to their increasing client base in the UK and Middle East.

The Business Consultant role is diverse and you will gain exposure to existing clients, onsite consulting work, liaison with a wide variety of internal divisions and teams, as well as exposure to high profile investment management clients at all levels. This is a great opportunity to build up knowledge in a wide number of business areas and solve a broad range of complex client issues.

Business Consultant responsibilities:

* Creating and maintaining excellent customer relationships through client support and resolving problems/issues

* Consultancy assistance on client sites, providing operational services on a range of business areas

* Involvement in non-technical aspects of client upgrades

* Focusing on how business processes could be improved in line with client experiences

Experience and skills required:

* Experience working for an asset management software company

* Experience supporting or implementing systems such as Aladdin, Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM, Thinkfolio etc

* Interest in financial services and interest in learning about the asset management industry

* Proactive nature with a solution focused attitude and ability to see the bigger picture

* Strong educational background, ideally with a 2.1 or above in a Science, Finance or Computer Science related subject

* Flexibility to travel (occasionally) within the UK, EU and Middle East
