Job Summary

To manage and deliver a portfolio of small change initiatives aligned to Bupa’s strategy and purpose. You will provide support to the Business Partners, to deliver all work packets that are not deemed large enough to be projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

- Investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements of new or changed processes.

- Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems, and identify options for consideration.

- Work iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests.

Requirements definition and management

- Define scope and business priorities for small-scale changes and may assist in larger scale scoping exercises.

- Elicit and discover requirements from operational management and other stakeholders.

- Select appropriate techniques for the elicitation of detailed requirements taking into account the nature of the required changes, established practice and the characteristics and culture of those providing the requirements.

- Specify and document business requirements as directed, ensuring traceability back to source. Analyse them for adherence to business objectives and for consistency, challenging positively as appropriate. Work with stakeholders to prioritise requirements.

Relationship management

- Implement stakeholder engagement/ communications plans, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information.

- Use feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.

- Help develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.

- To establish and manage effective and trusted relationships with all key Business and IT stakeholders.

Essential Skills

- To have experience of working in an agile, small change environment and to be pragmatic in dealing with a large volume of demand and initiation requests

- To enjoy the variety and exposure of working on small change initiatives - sometimes up to 10 at once.

- To have knowledge and expertise in leading small change with an IT environment

- Results oriented and focussed on adding value to Bupa.

- To have experience of methodologies across multiple delivery methodologies.

- Advocate of change, with significant experience of implementing Business and IT change.

- Must be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills across a wide range of different stakeholders from business customers through to IT colleagues

- Highly results driven with an insistent focus on delivery and a passion for excellence.

- Must be a strong team player able to establish effective working relationships.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.

- Effective vendor management skills.
