We’re looking for an experienced AV Support Engineer to provide front-line audio visual support, advice and troubleshooting services to the whole school community, from staff and students to executive participants and alumni.

The Role

Play an Important Role in our Success

Joining our Information Technology department as AV Support Engineer it’ll be down to you ensure our audio visual services are working exactly as they should be. Confident and approachable, you’ll support AV facilities across the campus, and help inspire individuals around the world. You’ll help to shape the future of our global business as you:

Respond to emergency call outs from teaching events

Set up PA systems, projection and LED screens at high-profile events

Check lecture theatres and seminar rooms prior to teaching sessions on a daily basis

Install and de-install IT and AV kit and video links in lecture theatres and seminar rooms

Conduct AV induction for new staff

Coordinate AV equipment loans

Provide back up support as required for the IT Support Team.

Who We Are Looking For

Previous AV support and customer service experience

Able to perform under pressure with a calm, methodical approach to problem solving

Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a wide range of people

Attention to detail along with strong organisational and time management skills

Flexibility with shift patterns and an ability to work unsupervised

Good knowledge of AV consumer technology including application and support
