We are currently in the middle of an exciting project to transform the way in which we deliver our services to valued members digitally. By embracing new technologies such as React and Redux, Slimming World aims to continue its success in the UK and transplant that success into markets across the globe.

Our Digital team is supporting the Company’s growth plans by developing a brand-new website as well as maintaining our current site and supporting systems so that we can continue to provide fabulous support to our precious members.

Our developers play a vital role in the successful delivery of the global vision. Working in small project teams, you will be involved at every stage of the development cycle; from requirements capture, design, development, testing and release management to providing on-going support.

can be flexible and a thrive in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day

are open to learning new skills and are confident bringing new ideas to the wider development team

The essential skills and experience we’re looking for are:

Developing solutions using Microsoft technologies including C#, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Visual Studio

Cloud-based services using Azure

Source control systems

Unit testing

Agile methodologies using the SCRUM framework.

Mentoring developers of all levels.

Desirable skills include:

Developing Web applications using React & Redux

CMS development using Umbraco

We’d also be very interested in hearing from you if you have experience in developing apps for Android and iOS, however this is not essential.
